For "Along came a spider", the American make up maven comes up with a gruesome plot: a psychopathic serial killer considers himself to be a spider - although he panicks whenever he sees a specimen of the arachnid family... Musically, the master of Horror sticks to his well-proven concept, but the new songs mostly leave the carelessness, the lightness of the olden times aside. With his extremely charismatic and unique Rock voice, Alice performs these gloomy and perfidious tracks bearing an underlying furtiveness - which is appropriate for that concept. After several spins in the CD player youβll notice that youβll be humming some of those melodies already - the master has yet again accomplished his mission...
