Aggressive, meticulous, passionate, righteous - all distinguishing traits that have come to symbolize the fundamentals of metal/hardcore pioneers PRO-PAIN. Since their crushing 1992 NAIRD nominated debut album "Foul Taste Of Freedom", PRO-PAIN have become a staple in the diets of heavy music listeners around the globe. Their successful and enviable career has perpetually prospered throughout it's course, and yet they still manage to find room to improve, and more importantly, impress. The year 2007 marks the 15 Year Anniversary of PRO-PAIN and the release of the above mentioned debut. Their latest offering "Age Of Tyranny / The Tenth Crusade" is not only symbolic as being the band's 10th studio album, but the term "Tenth Crusade" is also a rhetorical device that builds an analogy between the U.S. led "War On Terrorism" and the historical Crusades. Songs such as "The New Reality", 'Beyond The Pale" (feat. Matt Bizilia from Icarus Witch), and "All For King George" all speak loudly for the album's musical diversity, which covers all aspects of PRO-PAIN's hardcore, metal, and classic rock n' roll roots and influences. "Age Of Tyranny / The Tenth Crusade" is an album for the ages.
