Hardcore band Knocked Loose releases their third and most personal studio album, 'A Different Shade of Blue.'
'A Different Shade of Blue' is being released by Pure Noise Records and is the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2016 debut album, 'Laugh Tracks.' Produced by Will Putney, the new LP takes a slower and more methodical approach, abandoning the previous 'live in the studio' recording approach in order to channel an even more thoughtful and deliberate impact.
Under Putney's guidance, the band has created one of the most innovative hardcore albums of 2019. While some musical influences are easily identifiable - such as Pantera, Hatebreed, and Obituary - the band has expanded their stylistic palette significantly, incorporating Gothenburg-style death metal (At the Gates, early In Flames), slam metal (Devourment, Dying Fetus), brutal thrash (Sodom, Kreator), black metal (Craft), and the astounding complexity of hardcore bands like Snapcase and Bloodlet.
