'The international sleaze rock formation COBRA SPELL will release their long-awaited debut album 666 on December 1, 2023! Founded in 2019 by the emerging guitar heroine Sonia Anubis (ex-CRYPTA, ex-BURNING WITCHES), the current lineup of the band is completed by Kristina Vega on vocals, Twitch streamer Noelle dos Anjos on guitar, Hale Naphtha on drums, and Roxy Herrera on bass. Together, they have already Toured with numerous established bands such as ROSS THE BOSS, ENFORCER, and EVIL INVADERS, and have released two globally acclaimed EPs, Love Venom (2020) and Anthems Of The Night (2022). With these aces in their studded leather jackets, COBRA SPELL now presents their first studio album and aims for nothing less than world domination of 80s rock 'n' roll!

Their debut album is opened by a classic rock intro, paving the way for the energetic first single 'S.E.X.', carried by Kristina Vega's captivating vocals in the catchy chorus. From this opener, the essence of 666 becomes immediately apparent, undoubtedly lying in the untamed and unapologetic feminine power of the quintet. The lyrics tackle typical themes of 80s sleaze metal, but with a refreshing twist - particularly evident on tracks like 'Satan Is a Woman' and 'Bad Girl Crew'. COBRA SPELL also goes beyond glam rock and Heavy Metal clichés in their instrumentation - from sparkling synthesizers to a groovy saxophone solo on 'Love = Love', the band skillfully combines various 80s sounds, breaking musical taboos. The extraordinary songwriting skills shine especially on the catchy hit 'The Devil Inside of Me' and the emotional 'Fly Away', which is one of the slower pieces on the album. Catchy melodies and captivating drum patterns are crowned by gritty rock 'n' roll vocals on the W.A.S.P.-inspired anthem 'Warrior From Hell', before the shredding 'High on Love' appropriately closes the album.
