In 2023, Einar Solberg (Leprous) begins his solo career with the release of '16' - a collection of intimate yet extravagant collaborations with an impressive range of like-minded songwriters and composers, as well as a large number of musicians who help him realize this very ambitious album. Wild and diverse, yet spiritually rooted in Einar's established musical world, '16' is an album filled with moments of surprise. He collaborates with a variety of musicians - from modern prog contemporaries like Ben Levin of Bent Knee and Toti Gudnason of Agent Fresco, to experimental cellist (and regular Leprous live musician) Raphael Weinroth-Browne, and Magnus Bรธrmark, primarily known as a member of Norwegian alt-folk group Gรฅte. Additionally, he works again with Ihsahn and Starofash. '16' is the sound of a restless mind in its element, and an extraordinary first foray into solo waters for Einar Solberg.
