by Matthias Mader (12/99) Now, even Terrorgruppe from Kreuzberg, Berlin landed at Epitaph! Sell-out - here we go? Nope, Archi and his gang aren't tameable by anybody! One world - no future - 3:0 Terrorgruppe! As always, the recent album offers extremely heavy fool-Punk, guaranteed without intellectual depth whatsoever, but with Berliner Schnauze and from the bottom of their hearts. They even spare thoughts for minorities - listen to the great "Alle gegen alle". The anti-"Love Parade" song "Dr. Motte" is one of the absolute highlights. Even if "1 World - 0 Future" was recorded in sunny Spain, the 15 songs didn't loose any of their direct manner and still scintillate the good old iron-charme. The only difference: In "Enemy No.1", "What is wrong with the Americans?", "Destroy the Krauts" and "Do you mind?", several English-language songs have sneaked in. Today it's Kreuzberg, tomorrow L.A.? Anyways, Die Γrzte should get ready for a bloody fight for the Berlin Punk-Rock-throne!
