by Olaf Plotke (19.07.2007) This is one of the most promising debut albums that I have heard in a long time: Dawn Of Destiny create a refreshing Power Metal, far from all cliches. And even with the female lead-singer, Tanja Maul, they are never in danger of sounding like a Lacuna Coil- or Nightwish-clone. What I personally like most is the easiness with which the band combines all sorts of different genres and melodies. The opener, "Healing touch", e.g. is a true Metal-song, yet with an almost chart-compatible chorus. And also "All thoses lies" changes within seconds from power hymn to ballad and after an excursion to Black Metal finally returns to Power Metal. Great, authentic, and absolutely worthwhile. An impressive debut that with almost 60 minutes of music also offers value for money. I love it!
