by Olaf Plotke (null) Ross Robinson's next masterpiece! After his productions for Sepultura, Korn and Manhole, his new discovery Limp Bizkit throws brute hardcore towards the ears of the listener. Still the band also has a lower, melodic touch to it. On "Three dollar bill, yall $" you'll find the above mentioned genres as well as rap an hip hop parts but most of the time the guys from Jacksonville, Florida unleash the Jaguar. "Counterfeit" for example unites all the previously mentioned elements perfectly. You might compare the band with German crossover/hardcore combo Thumb, but just superficially. 13 really strong songs including the kick-ass George Michael-cover "Faith" which is a lot heavier (and cooler) than the original and makes you wanna move! Still I don't believe Fred Durst when he sings "All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi..." I guess the 3$ bills are more to his liking...
