Just another metalcore band? Not quite! MACHINEMADE GOD might hail from the Ruhr/Rhine area, which has spawned Germany’s biggest metalcore export CALIBAN, but the quintet is far more than an uninspired copy. MACHINEMADE GOD deliver a barrage of riffs that is almost unheard of. The band have reduced their original hardcore elements to a minimum, yet they are still present enough to enhance their melodic death metal with additional variation and dynamics.

MACHINEMADE GOD are more metal than most other bands in their league, mercilessly ripping through the 13 tracks on their debut album, which is coming out on Metal Blade Records after only one demo got them the deal. This shredding guitar monster was recorded in Denmark’s Smart and Hard Studio by Jacob Bredahl (HATESPHERE), who has successfully produced several German bands (ZERO MENTALITY, KORODED, END OF DAYS, JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE…) and who makes a guest appearance on vocals. Mastered by Ziggy at ZigZound Studios, "The Infinity Complex" is a debut album which makes many others pale in comparison!

Through their energetic live performance, MACHINEMADE GOD have been able to quickly establish themselves in the underground since their fomation in 2003. Therefore it’s no surprise they were the first unsigned act ever to appear at Germany’s biggest hardcore and metalcore festival, the Pressure Fest. Although it still seems quiet around the band, 2006 will see them annihilating audiences everywhere when they tour in support of "The Infinity Complex"(Source: Metal Blade Records)

by Matthias Mader (20.01.2006) When it comes to first class metal core it has long been known that you don't have to necessarily look overseas, only. Also the labels have understood that the European scene has massively improved. The currently probably biggest fish was signed by Metal Blade now: the debut album of the German Machinemade God shows no weak spot. Named “The infinity complex“, this highly explosive album convinces by merciless machine gun riffs, well dosed mosh parts and some extremely interesting rhythm patterns. Also if the aggressive scream-vocals are dominating, “The infinity complex“ is by no means the typical kind of metal core album: skilfully built-in slow parts provide some variation just like the surprisingly variably used guitar textures (“Kiss me now kill me later“). If there has ever been any one band that managed to combine the sound of such different bands as Celtic Frost, Slayer, Hatebreed and Born From Pain in a splendid way than this band is called Machinemade God.
