The trio Chvrches from Glasgow drew a lot of attention from British media and blogs right from the start with their track "Lies", back in October 2011. But the reputation of the band has reached far beyond the borders of England into Germany. In their forecast "Pop Prognosis 2013", German magazine SPIEGEL ranked Chvrches on ninth place as one of the most interesting newcomers. Additionally, the newspaper DIE ZEIT sees them as one of the most promising pop newcomers in 2013. In April, Chvrches' debut single "Recover" climbed to first place straight away at the online portal Hype Machine. Chvrches is now moving towards the release of their debut album with their second single "The Mother We Share".
