Article description

This documentary sensitively shows the decline of the 'Pentagram' front man Bobby Liebling and his painstaking return to the stage. Bobby Liebling, front man of the heavy metal band 'Pentragram', hits rock bottom. He's approximately 50 years old, vegetates in his parents' basement and spends most of his time partaking in excessive drug use. However, the underground scene rediscovers 'Pentagram's music. Liebling gets the chance to end his self-destructive lifestyle. His manager and his new girlfriend help him fight his addiction. The documentary "Last Days Here" by Don Argott and Demian Fenton, both of whom are heavy metal musicians themselves, shows Bobby Liebling's downfall and rise. He was the lead singer and only constant member of the ground breaking US band 'Pentagram' for over 36 years. His band is one of the pioneers of doom metal. Argott and Fenton had a low budget, but filmed several hours of material from Liebling's life over three years. They assembled the very touching journey of a hero.
