The production of the new album is absolutely fantastic. Vocalist Dani is still shrieking in his uncopyable manner but he uses his voice much more effective and varied. Well, the band as a whole offers it's best songmaterial since the legendary debut "The principle of evil made flesh"! Unbelievable, how much energy this band creates! Probably all old school extreme black metal fans will turn away from the band... nevertheless, "Cruelty and the beast" simply is the ultimative, if not perfect album for horror and metal fans.
