Article description
It took almost five years of work on "Celebration Day" before the audio cut finally ensured the grammy for best rock album for the band Led Zeppelin. After the movie was also successful in theatres, it was released on DVD format. On December 10th 2007, Led Zeppelin climbed the stage at O2 arena in London to give their tribute concert for their good friend and Atlantic co-founder "Ahmed Ertegun". This was followed by more than two hours of heavy blues rock 'n' roll - a tour de force, which immediately became part of the Led Zeppelin legend. The founding members John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were supported by the son of the deceased drummer John Bonham. They performed 16 songs from their famous repertoire including milestones such as "Whole Lotta Love", "Rock And Roll", "Kashmir" and "Stairway To Heaven".
