by Matthias Mader (01.02.2008) It was time for it: after ten years of band history, the American Metalcore heroes, Unearth, finally hear the calls of their numerous fans and release a big double-DVD. Heart of the set is an eleven-song-recording from 10.09.2007 in the Glasshouse in Pomona (which saw Unearth as the second headliner after Darkest Hour, August Burns Red and Suicide Silence). The second DVD should be even more interesting for fans of the band because beside the seven video clips that Unearth have ever released, you get plenty of bonus material. Featured are, e.g., rare live recordings from their Japan-tour, a hammer version of the neck killer, "Zombie auto pilot" (recorded on the German "Full Force"-Festival) and an extensive band history beautifully underpinning the status of the band. People, like Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Metal Blade-chied, Brian Slagel, Vinnie Paul and Hoya of Madball praise Unearth. An essential release for all Unearth fans.
