Great Vinyl Album
With the baby on the cover of this record now in his mid-20s, it's appropriate that Nevermind is an album that can be picked up and appreciated by any listener, whether they lived through the emergence of grunge or not. Songs like 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' really summed up the frustration that galvanised the early '90s youth, and hints of Kurt Cobain's fragile mental state are apparent in tracks like 'Stay Away' and the haunting 'Come As You Are'. There really is no weak track on this album, whether it's the screaming racket of 'Territorial Pissing', or the dark and brooding 'Polly', but while Nevermind has Nirvana’s best songs, I still think In Utero is the better album. As Kurt himself has said, Nevermind is a little too polished, and it took Steve Albini’s raw production of In Utero to really showcase the band’s volatility and intensity at its fullest.

David Bowie - The Very Best of Vinyl
A posthumous David Bowie album has been announced. Released via Parlophone, Bowie Legacy collects the late singer’s “finest singles† from throughout his five-decade long career.
The greatest hits collection follows the 2014 compilation Who Can I Be Now. Along with some of his earliest recordings, the set also includes tracks from his final album Blackstar, as well as an unreleased version of ‘Life on Mars?’, mixed by its original producer, Ken Scott.
Whilst CD and digital versions of Bowie Legacy are out on 11 November, the deluxe double vinyl edition hits shelves on 7 January 2017 – the week of the anniversary of Bowie’s death.
