Great design but comes up VERY large
The good stuff: Great design (it’s nice to have something other than black in the wardrobe every now and then), decent & comfortable ‘ring-spun’ (soft) material, well constructed.
BUT: I take a large in every known t-shirt brand and have for years, so I bought this in a large too. Even at 6’4” / 200lbs, I felt like I was a kid wearing my dad’s clothes... This t-shirt comes up VERY large, particularly in the width (the length (height) is as you would expect). I simply tailored mine to fit by taking it in at the sides (it needed around 2” each side, for reference) but if I was to buy again I’d definitely try a medium and hope the length doesn’t come up too short.
The collar line is a fair bit wider than most t-shirts out there too - not necessarily a negative (depending on your own preference) but certainly something to be aware of.

Nothing not to love
Decent quality hoodie (as always they come up a bit small so consider ordering the next size up from whatever you take in a t-shirt) with a great design derived from DevilDriver’s latest album.
As in the title, there’s nothing not to love! \m/

Happy to recommend, but the soles are a concern
A great design, the trainers are comfortable and look much more subtle and understated than you may think when they’re on.
I’m a UK size 12 but took a punt on these in an EU size 46 (UK 11 on the label, the largest size available) and they actually fit perfectly. The lesson?: they come up a bit big (length-wise, although they’re narrow with it), which was a bonus for me but may not be for you so consider that when ordering.
I’m not entirely convinced by the robustness of the soles, it looks like the rubber might not be particularly hard wearing. Time will tell and to be fair I’ve had no issues so far; it’s very much just an impression at this stage.
The quality otherwise (stitching, printing, embroidery, etc) all looks absolutely fine. Mine were supplied with only a single pair of laces - not the two different coloured pairs as advertised - but EMP were very helpful with sorting that out after the fact offering me a discount if I wanted to keep the pair I already had, which I did.
It’s a TINY bit annoying to see that there are identically-styled trainers available in the catalogue with other (non-Metallica) designs for a vastly cheaper price - in some cases half the £41.99 I paid for these - but then again it’s no real shock to see that if you want anything Metallica you have to pay for it...
Overall I’m really happy with these trainers and am equally happy to recommend them.

Perfect bundle
A modern thrash classic in the making, a truly killer album. The artwork is great so the t-shirt with this bundle is an instant win and the 9.5cm x 9.5cm woven patch is probably the finest official patch I’ve seen in years, really good quality.
Great designs but very small
I’m sure these are very comfortable if you get the correct fit, but despite the size on the fitment guide suggesting I’d be a M and me actually ordering a L, they come up very small. If I was to order again, I’d go for an XL, despite having a 33” waist.

A great sweary Eddie graphic guaranteed to piss off your neighbours and the perfect size to be used as intended; what’s not to love?!

Awesome jacket but watch those sizes (read this if you’re tall)
I bought this Iron Maiden ‘Book of Souls’ leather jacket for myself in the Easter ‘18 sale. I’d been keeping an eye on it for a long time waiting for the right price to come up (noting that most if not all of the promotional offers from EMP don’t cover this particular jacket). I’m a huge Maiden fan and loved the look of this from the first time I saw it, but frankly £220 still seems a bit on the pricey side.
Immediately on opening my parcel I concluded that the pictures really don’t do justice to this jacket. In at least a few of the shots, the leather looks somewhat shiny making it appear ostensibly cheap, but in actuality it isn’t like that at all. The leather is particularly soft and supple (and smells incredible if such a thing is important) and the stitching, lining, zips, etc are all top quality and seemingly very hard-wearing (clearly time will tell on this point). The inclusion of spares of the press studs is a reassuring touch from the point of view of maintaining longevity, too. The back print, which in the photos appears really bold almost to the point of distraction is actually printed in a darker shade of grey than suggested and as a result is far more subtle than you may think despite its size; even though a large part of the appeal is of course the awesome Mayan Eddie design from the latest album, a brash look to this just wouldn’t suit it. The same can be said for the stamped IM logo on the left breast and the Eddie ‘ead zip-pulls, too - they’re noticeable details that set this jacket apart, yes, but they don’t look tacky or over the top.
I knew from the off that buying this jacket would be a risk from the point of view of size (part of the reason I was reluctant to buy it at full price, despite EMP’s robust and simple returns policy). I’m a tall guy at 6’5” and, as anyone of a similar height will no doubt attest, clothing manufacturers seem to think that if you’re tall you must also be fat, which at least for me is not the case. Having very carefully measured a jacket I already own and comparing it to the (accurate as far as I can tell) sizing chart provided on the website, I ordered the biggest - 3XL - size. For reference, I normally take a L in a t-shirt and an XL in a hoodie (mainly for sleeve length). To be fair, I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried on my jacket; it wasn’t too bad a fit at all. Usually I find that the sleeves on any given garment are far too short but the ones on this are quite generous. The body length was decent too. Inevitably, as I suspected may be the case, it was really too wide through the trunk, not so much in the chest but certainly lower down. I did note that it fit perfectly across the shoulders. Deciding it wasn’t too far off the mark, I actually took my jacket straight to a tailors to have it altered (taken in at the body, tapered in the sleeves to account for that change and to have the sleeves lengthened by 12mm). It is another testament to the quality of this jacket that the tailor I used (a specialist in leather) commented on how nice the leather is and on the overall quality of the construction; I don’t think you can get higher praise than from someone who sees and works on items such as this all day. The cost of the alterations accounted for the discounted difference from the original cost of my jacket but was well worth it. The point to all of this is that, if you follow the same process I used (measure, compare, order the nearest size) and the jacket you order isn’t quite right, there is still hope that you can get it to fit.
So, a summary:
Pros:
* Beautiful leather
* Top quality construction, seems very hard-wearing
* The embellishments are subtle rather than too ‘in your face’
* Accurate sizing chart makes ordering less of a lottery
* Spare press studs included
Cons:
* Expensive despite the quality AND not often discounted / subject to offers
* Adjustment to or a compromise on the fit may be necessary if you’re taller than, at a guess, about 6’2”
* Only one of the two (one either side) inside pockets has a Velcro closure leaving the second one open and therefore largely pointless (it’s the correct size for a smart phone but would you really want to put a phone in an insecure pocket...?)
Genuinely, I’m nitpicking with the cons. Now that I’ve had my jacket tailored and it fits me perfectly, I’m going to wear it every day. UP THE IRONS. \m/
