Power Metal straight out of Germany

Amiable pumpkin heads Helloween are definitely one of the most important Power Metal bands of all time. You have to acknowledge this, regardless of the fact that they are from Germany. Founded in Hamburg by Markus Grosskopf and Kai Hansen in 1981, the group achieved worldwide fame with singer Michael Kiske some time later. Apart from their debut "Walls Of Jericho", the two initial "Keeper Of The Seven Keys" albums have remained absolute fan favourites in terms of Helloween. After "Pink Bubbles Go Ape" and "Chameleon", Kiske left the band, and Andi Deris came into the fold, where he has stayed until today. Helloween didn't lose any of their qualities but simply soldiered on, opening a new chapter in their career. The went back to the roots of Power Metal, still looking forward into a bright future. "Rabbit Don't Come Easy", "Gambling With The Devil" or "Straight Out Of Hell" speak for themselves, showing that Helloween are captivating, enchanting and impressive as ever. Power Metal made in Germany!

The journey is far from over

To celebrate their 30th anniversary, the veterans have released "My God-Given Right" (Nuclear Blast), a helluva 14th studio album. As usual, Helloween gave their songs into the capable hands of Charlie Bauerfeind (Blind Guardian, Hammerfall etc.) and his MiSueno Studio. The result is without any doubt a masterpiece and the perfect addition to their discography. Tracks like „Battle’s Won“, „Lost In America“ or „Claws“ are the hits on this album, which we totally love. Andi Deris, Markus Grosskopf, Michael „Weiki“ Weikath“, Sascha Gerstner and Daniel „Dani“ Loeble are simply great musicians.

Besides Helloween's legendary albums, the Official EMP Helloween Online Shop also offers newer records from the Hamburg-based group – of course as digipak CDs, too, not to forget Helloween merchandise and even articles for kids.
