Are Darkane actually progressive? Or do they rather play Thrash? And how can you explain the acoustic elements? And why do they also make use of symphonic elements? Well, that's easy to answer: Because they are unique and don't adhere to one style. These Swedes united in 1998 as an answer to the disbanded predecessor Agretator to find they own path. "Rusted Angel"was released a year after Darkane was founded, and the albums "Insanity" and "Expanding Senses" 3 and 4 years after. In between the band played a lot of gigs to spread their albums among the masses. So it's safe to say the band played their ass off before they got a bit more famous. Due to health issues the band band was put on ice for a while, but in 2004 they began working on their masterpiece "Layers of Lies". They were easily able to succeed once again with "Demonic Art". In 2013, their original singer took up the microphone with their 2013 album "The Sinister Supremacy". We at EMP got Darkane CDs and shirts in stock, so that no one can say to never have seen or heard of the band. Just take a look, we promise that Darkane will not dissappoint you!
