Yes, this is how punk rock gets its true significance: on their new album, "The war on errorism", NOFX mercilessly put their fingers into the wounds of the American people. Inspired by the U.S. invasion in the Iraque, the punk rockers from Los Angeles are cashing up with the American president, George W. Bush. Songs, like "Idiots are taking over" or "Franco Un-American" clearly take position against Bush's aggressive foreign politics. The Music accompanying this is no less offensive. Harsh guitars, noisy drums with groove and singer Fatty leaves no doubts in voice and text about his protest. Who after the regular songs is still curious about the political attitude of the band should watch the included video clip. Alone the title about the senior president and his son, George W. will surely cause a stir in America: "Idiot son of an asshole". Phew, heavy stuff from the house of NOFX.
