Ahh Clandestine, death metal at it,s very best. Entombed the swedish death metal kings second album. Far more advanced and better then their first. The songs got more seperation and does not sound alike in anyway. I belive their first album 'Left hand Path' had that problem. Can,t really think about anything bad in Clandestine.A pure sound with heavy gained guitars, massive, roaring and powerful drums and death lyrics that just blows your mind altrough the nine songs. They start up with Living dead a song who would get the dead to turn in their graves. Then they fire away with Sinners bleed a satanic song were the arts of evil deaths are described. After you heard theese two you are most likley to be convinced to listen the album trough with great excitment.Hard and heavy guitar tones keeps cutting trough the songs and everytime you are suprised by the great compotion and style this album got. They end it all with the old re-recorded song Severe Burns and make the final finish with the dark and mystic song Trough the collonades. This is the style and sound Entombed should have preserved and kept for the future albums but apperantly the decided not to. In my own apinion I belive the should have. But anyways if your searching for a kickass death metal album that could be as a proof of death metals prefection under the years, an album that you would wanna listen over and over again then this is it!
