Is released as limited, coloured vinyl box set with individual artwork sleeves and coloured inner sleeves.

Social Distortion release their first vinyl box set. "The independent years: 1983 - 2004" contains the Independent label releases of the band in a neat slipcase.

The box contains the following albums on coloured vinyl:
1) Mainliner (Wreckage From The Past) - transparent
This collection of early singles and B sides (recorded circa 1983) also features the brilliant Stones cover "Under my thumb" and "1945" which is an all-time fan favourite.

2) Mommy’s Little Monster - Red transparent
The debüt album of 1983 doesn't need any further words - an indestructible classic that served as a source of inspiration for countless bands such as Offspring, Rancid and Co..

3) Prison Bound - Olive green with black swirl transparent
Originally, the second album was released in 1988, it was influenced by Johnny Cash and the Rolling Stones (once again covered with a great version of "Backstreet girl") even more and enhanced the unique trademark Rock sound for which the formerly rough Orange County Punk Rock combo is known today.

4) Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll - Orange transparent
The sixth long player delivered by the formation was released in 2004, taking Social Distortion back to their Independent label roots. The opening song "Reach for the sky" is still one of the the greatest hits of Mike Ness and Co.!
