One half of the vinyl edition comes on black vinyl, the other half on transparent vinyl. The colour is not stated on the cover, so it is a surprise which colour will be delivered.

"ChangesOneBowie" was the first real BOWIE best of compilation and it was released in May 1976, when BOWIE was a superstar already. The album consisted of 11 songs from the years 1969 to 1976. The highlight of the album was the song John, I'm Only Dancing, which was released as a a single in 1972 and which was not part of any album. In the US, it was only released with 'ChangesOneBowie', because they thought the song might be linked to homosexuality because of Bowies bisexual phase. Further hits on 'ChangesOneBowie' come from almost all albums, apart from The Man Who Sold The World: Space Oddity (from David Bowie a.k.a. Space Oddity), Changes (from Hunky Dory), Ziggy Stardust, and Sufragette City (from The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars), The Jean Genie (from Alladin Sane), Diamond Dogs and Rebel Rebel (from Diamond Dogs), Young American and Fame (from Young American) as well as Golden Years (from Station to Station).
