Limited edition re-release of the classic "Rust In Peace" by Megadeth on black vinyl (180g).

Megadeth has seldom been faster, more creative, brutal and varied than on their album 'Rust In Peace'. The entire disc is hard but thoughtful, the lyrics are politically and socially critical - but all in all it's the usual heavy thrash. On this disc Megadeth will not only satisfy you with the title track 'Rust In Peace' but also with the solo dominated track 'Hangar 18'.

Riffs and solos galore

Megadeth have never released anything else as good as this album, but that's ok because no one else has either \m/ a masterpiece through and through, the line-up was perfect for this album, the song writing is stupendous and the solos are breathtaking. One of the best thrash metal albums out there, this is a must have for any metalhead

Megadeth at their best

This is a must have album for all metal/thrash fans. Megadeth at their best, an album full of great tunes. The sound is awesome and it sounds even better on vinyl. Do not miss...I wish they release the next albums on 180 gram vinyl sometime soon.

One from the highest league

While reviewing such classics as “Rust In Peace” definitely is, the poor soul that is trying to do it must feel a bit foolish, because the most evident things are at the same time the most hard to explain. The fourth album of MEGADETH is simply one of those gems that aren’t to be found often enough. Everything clicked on at the time, every little detail found its only right place. Its just perfect record from the very beginning to the last note of it. Every Thrash Metal fan is able in a blink of an eye to name some more albums in the genre which are great in their own rights, but to name one single band that could top MEGADETH in their own, twisted and complicated but still catchy way of Thrash is anything but an easy task. If you must limit your Thrash Metal collection down to just ten LPs, make sure that “Rust In Peace” is one of them.
