Sometimes time can play tricks on us. So, if you see that facts tell us that a whole decade has passed since the last album from 'Enchant' was released, the 2003 "Tug Of War", one could assume that a mean, misleading destiny has disturbed our memories. But it really has been more than 10 years since the release of that album - why have the progressive rock masters from the Bay Area been away for so long?
The latest, and eighth, album by the band is called "The Great Divide" and is a comment regarding the problems that the band had to overcome during their break - and how this made them stronger than ever.
Ott has been admittedly again the main songwriter and producer of the new album, but there has been a lot of input by the other four band members. The rhythm section with bass player Ed Platt and drummer Sean Flenegan, the quick keyboardist Bill Jenkins and the multi-talented vocalist and guitar player Ted Leonard also belong to 'Enchant'. They created an album on which they do not simply continue what they started with "Tug Of War", they instead try something completely new.
