The "satire" rock band 'Feuerschwanz' is back in the game! Extraordinary racy middle age folk rock will be released with the album "Auf's Leben". The guys from Nuremberg are on schedule for their 10th year jubilee and present their new album, which has been perfectly created by Thomas Heimann-Trosien (i.a. Schandmaul, In Extremo, Saltatio Mortis) in collaboration with Simon Michael (drummer and Subway To Sally producer). This is an amazing product with 13 songs (Special Edition: 15 songs!), and the first song already proves this, which is also the title track. Next on the line is the next potential hit "Herz im Sturm" - a song about being in love. Of course with a cheeky wink... "Mann aus Metall" is - of course - a greatly armed knight, who spends his days counting calories and exercising. Up next, "Blöde Frage, Saufgelage", a real party hit, where the band makes fun of themselves. Other highlights are "Hans (der Aufrechte)", an homage to all the 6 chord warriors of this world, as well as "Träumer und Tor": this is where the band shows what they are capable of: rough riffs alternate with epic melodies and complex, classic string arrangements. The song "Auf Wiedersehn" reveals the band's softer side, they are more thoughtful and personal. Singer and bagpiper Prinz "Hodi" Hodenherz says: "This song is about a much loved person, who I have lost. To us, as a band, this story - although it is extremely tragic - had to be told. If something is on your mind, you have to let it out." The epic ending of this album is "Frisch Gezapft"
