The new double album from Arcade Fire will be released on October 25. The first single is a disco excursion that the band performs as The Reflektors. David Bowie in vinyl was sold out around the world after just a few minutes. The debut album "Funeral" (2004) was a record about various kinds of misfortunes, and "Neon Bible" provided the group with a breakthrough two years later. "The Suburbs" (2010) immediately topped the charts in the US and England, and it cemented the reputation of Arcade Fire as equally successful artists and critics. They even won a Grammy in the category “Album of the Year". Arcade Fire was suddenly the best rock band in the world. But how do you maintain your relevance and satisfy your fans while at the same time avoiding falling into a creative rut? Arcade Fire made the right choice. They took their time and then chose James Murphy as their producer. Murphy had previously collaborated with such artists as the Gorillaz and the YeahYeahYeahs, and his label DFA left its mark on music released in the early 2000’s. In the album Arcade Fire explores the limits of its own body of music. They have broken new ground. One thing is clear after listening to "Reflektor": we would be more than happy to come along with them for the ride.
