Come to the Dark Side, we have cake!

I bought this in anticipation of Star Wars themed baking (my dad's a huge fan, he loves Star Wars themed anything) so I decided this May 4th to make a Darth Chocolate Sponge. I filled it all the way to the top because I was worried the cowl wouldn't fill out if I just left it to rise into position. I was right, as a refill with less batter left me with a burnt cowl area as it was underfilled. However, filling it completely to ensure all little nooks will have cake in them meant I ended up with a huge dome on the back of the 'head'.
The cake batter, when cooked properly, comes out like a dream, but due to it being so deep you need to cook your cake for a little longer than most recipes suggest - mine took a full 15 minutes longer, but a simple knife test will let you know if it's ready.
The cake comes out perfectly formed, in fact because it's silicone it has a lovely smooth, shiny appearance - it's surely a cake worthy of the Sith Lord himself.

Darth Vader Cake Mould

This arrived quicker than expected to the UK and was spot on as described. I haven't actually used it for cakes yet, as I bought it as a bread mould (someone challenged me to make a roll that looked like Darth Vader and seemed the solution). The mould's walls are slightly thinner than I was expecting, but handled bread dough just fine, so should be perfect for cakes. All in all I'm very happy with it and the price was great compared to other moulds I've seen.
