With the 14th longplayer „Super collider“ the legendary Thrashers Megadeth go back in the direction of the „Countdown to extinction“- and „Youthanasia“-era, the beginning/middle of the nineties. The result is one of the best performances of Dave Mustaine & Co. since then.

if your looking for thrash look elsewhere

megadeth are absolutely one of my favorite thrash bands ever and there productivity in terms of albums has been awesome 14 albums in and i don't see an end in sight that being said 14 albums in there not gonna all be incredible and there not gonna be all to your taste go into this with an open mind and no prior expectations i think your gonna have fun with this album if you go in wanting peace sells or endgame you may be disappointed megadeth are known to me for storming opening tracks and kingmaker is no different hits the ground running brilliant i heard Sabbath overtones in the song but who cares i thought it was brilliant then your on the title track which is good and that's putting it kindly its a fun song nothing special from megadeth id definatly say a missed step
my top 3 tracks on this album personally are
1 kingmaker because its brilliant nuff said
2 built for war
3 don't turn your back
Honorable mentions for the blackest crow you have never heard this weird sound from megadeth and it is very cool
and the thin Lizzy cover of cold sweat is amazing
also David Draiman from disturbed/device features on 2 tracks of the album there good features i barely noticed him on forget to remember but the part he sang on dance in the rain really played of mustaines vocals well and i thought it helped make the song a standout track on the album all in all supercollider is a great rock album not a great megadeth album because they've done incredible work id say buy this if you love megadeth and are open minded with your music
