Hard n heavy

Here Vicious Rumors very much adopt a power/thrash approach which is similar to that of modern Helstar, or Agent Steel. I’ve also detected some serious Testament vibes, particularly in terms of production and tone, and I think The Formation Of Damnation signposted the sound and approach of a lot of these US bands would take. Particularly with that big, chugging rhythm guitar approach, and of course the more flamboyant lead guitars. As such Electric Punishment comes off a very heavy, modern release, and one certainly deserving of its title.

This album delivers

Its great to see bands like Vicious Rumours and Metal Church still delivering the goods.

This band have been around a while and have delivered a lot of strong material. They were originally formed in the late 70's

I would say this album is up these with their best! If you have not heard this band before you need to check them out. This is a good enough place to start.

What you get with this album are killer riffs and great musicianship. This is a great power metal album from these bay area metal heads.

There us plenty of melody and plenty of shredding. Check out there other material as well, there a band that never exploded and deserved to be a lot bigger.

Highly recommended
