The name means "Iron Jaws" in the language of Sindarin, if you're wondering. I got into Carach Angren through my boyfriend earlier this year, and I've been hooked ever since. If you're into Black/Death metal, then I think you'd really like Angren. Some of my other favourite bands include, Amon Amarth, Korpiklaani, Gorjira and Lillasyster and I got into these guys perfectly. The singer has a very unique and demonic voice, something you won't find in many other bands. They're enchanting. The use of the orchestral arrangements is perfect, something that is incredibly hard to achieve, especially as well as these guys do it.
It's an all-round brilliant album, all the songs are wonderfully crafted, none of the songs are weaker than the next one and none bring the album down. 4/5 stars. Great band, great album.
